Chicken Masala Fry

Procedure:

Ingrediants :

1. 2 lbs, Chicken (breast meat or leg quarters with bones)
2. 2 medium onions, sliced
3. 4 tbsp curry powder (Or 2 tsp cumin powder, 4. 2 tsp coriander powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 2 tsp chilli powder
5. 8 curry leaves
6. 2 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves
7. 1/2 inch cinammon stick
8. 1 cup yogurt
1 tomato
9. 2 tbsp lemon juice
10. 1/2 cup coriander leaves chopped for garnish

Directions :

1. Cut the chicken into medium-sized pieces, clean, and add salt and the curry powder/s and marinate for 15 minutes.
2. Heat olive oil, fry the sliced onion, cloves and cinnamon stick.
3. When onion turns golden, add the chicken, curry leaves and saute for a couple of minutes.
4. Then add yogurt, tomato and stir a few turns and add 2 cups of water and lemon juice.
5. Cook till chicken is tender, add salt to taste, garnish with coriander leaves.
