Oats and Mung Dal Tikka

Ingrediants :

Moong dal 2 cup

Rice-1 cup

Oats-1/2 cup

Chopped Onion-1/2 cup

Grated carrot, spinach and cabbage-1 cup

1 tsp Ginger Garlic paste

Coriander powder-2 tbsp

Cumin seed powder 1/2 tsp

Fresh yogurt-2 tbsp

Salt to taste

Directions :

First of all, soak moong dal and rice separately in fresh water for about 5 hours. Later, drain the water and grind them separately

Mix well the mixture of moong dal and rice. Add oats, cumin seeds and salt to it. Add little water to the mixture and prepare batter of medium thickness

Divide the mixture into equal portions and press each one into circular flat shaped balls

Take a non-stick pan and lightly grease it with oil. Fry each ball at medium heat; sprinkle grated carrot and cabbage, onion and coriander while cooking. Evenly cook both the sides.

Oats and Mung Dal Tikka is done, serve hot with green chutney or raita
