Moong Dal Panki

Procedure:

Ingrediants :

100gm Moong Dal

11/2 tbsp Fresh Curd

2 Green Chillies, minced

2 tsp Besan Or Gram Flour

A Pinch of Asafoetida and Sugar

11/2 tbsp Chopped Coriander

1 tsp Lemon Juice

Slat, to Taste

Banana Leaves


Directions :

Soak 100gm moong dal in water for about 21/2 hours. Later drain the water and keep soaked moong aside

Grind all the ingredients with the fresh yogurt and green chillies

Add the gram flour and asafetida to the above mixture

Take some banana leaves, cut them into small equal shapes

Apply little oil on each leaf. Spread the mixture on one leaf and cover it with another leaf

Roast on a tawa until brown spots appears on both sides

Moong Dal Panki recipe is ready, serve hot with green chutney
