Description :

Lumbini Park is a beautiful small public, urban entertainment park which is about 7.5 acres situated on the Shore of Hussainsagar Lake in Hyderabad, India. Spectacular animation with live video, stunning sound, musical fountains and amazing beam effects, are all astonishingly portrayed on one of the largest water screens in the world.

Since it is located in the heart of the city and is close to the other tourist attractions of Hyderabad, such as Birla Mandir and Necklace Road, many people come to visit these places through out the year.

Lumbini Park is constructed in the year 1994 and operated by Buddha Purnima Project Authority which is under the State Government of Andhra Pradesh. The construction of Lumbini Park was coasted around INR Rs 2.35 crores, in about 5 acres.

BPPA Buddha Purnima Project Authority was established in the year 2000 to maintain Necklace Road, NTR Gardens and Necklace Road. Necklace Road was attacked Terrorist Bombs on 25th August 2007,

The elements coalesce to recreate stories of historical and cultural aspects of Hyderabad’s past, present and future each night. The other attractions include the fabulous landscaping, a musical water fountain and the entrance has a floral clock. Lumbini Park has a jetty which is a major point for pleasure boating.
