Pachmarhi is known as ‘Queen of Satpura’, situated at a height of 3550 ft. on Satpura ranges. Pachmarhi is surrounded by low lying rugged hills, valleys, lakes, ravines, beautiful green forests, waterfalls and scenic spots. Panchmarhi includes timber and teak reserves. The best season to visit this place is between October and June.

Pachmarhi Hill Resort is discovered in 1857 by Captain Forsyth of British army. Pachmarhi hill station boasts of amazing rock shelters and exotic wildlife. UNESCO added Pachmarhi Park to its list of Biosphere Reserves in May 2009. Pachmarhi is a group of waterfalls, ancient temples, caves and natural beauty. Some of the places of tourist interest in pachmarhi are Rajat Prapat (Big Fall), Bee Fall, Pandava Caves, Bada Mahadev, Gupt Mahadev, shiv temple Chauragarh, Highest peak Dhupgarh, Dep valley Handi Khoh, Apsara Falls, Jatashankar, DuchessFall and PansyPool. Pachmarhi is famous for items made from jute and marbles.

The nearest Airport to Pachmarhi is Bhopal. A flight from Delhi, Gwalior, Indore, Mumbai, Raipur and Jabalpur to Bhopal is existed. Pipariya is the closest rail head located at a distance of 47 kms from the Pachmarhi hill station. The Pachmarhi hill station is well connected to Bhopal, Jabalpur, pipariya and Nagpur.
