Semiya Payasam

Procedure:

Ingrediants :

1/2 cup- Ghee
1/2- Vermicelli crumbled
4cups Hot milk
1/2- sugar
4 green cardamoms powdered
1/3- cashew nuts broken into pieces
1/3- raisins

Directions :

1.Heat 1/4 cup ghee in pan for about 2mins, Add vermicelli. Stir and fry till golden brown(approx-3mns). Add milk & Sugar. Stir till sugar is dissolved.
2. Close pan. Bring to full pressure on medium heat. Reduce heat and cook for one mint.
3. Remove pan from heat. Reduce pressure by placing pan of cold water for about 2mns.
4. Open pan, add cardamom powder.
5. Place pan on high heat, Cook till payasam is slightly thickened(aaprox 3 mns). Stirring constantly.
6. in another pan, heat remaining ghee 1/4 cup for about 23mns. Add cashew nuts and fry till golden brown. Add raisins. Stir for a few seconds and pour in to payasam. Stir and serve hot.
