MAKHANA KHEER RECIPE

Procedure:

Ingrediants :

1. 100-150gms soft white Makhanas

2. 1 tsp ghee

3. 5-6 cups milk

4. 4 tbsp sugar

5. 1-2 tbsp shredded almonds

6. 1-2 tbsp grated pistachios

7. One tsp crushed green cardamom seeds


Directions :


Process to make Makhana Kheer Recipe:

1. Cut Makhanas into equivalent parts and take them in a pan along with ghee.

2. Now start Frying over a low flame for about 5 minutes.

3. Later add milk and sugar and stir it well.

4, Boil the entire mixture at a low heat (simmer) for almost an hour up to milk evaporates leaving some creamy substance in the bowl.

5. Always have conscious about stirring the item so that milk does not stick to the bottom of the pan.

6. Later add chopped almonds and pistachios to the mixture and boil it for further 10 minutes

7. Finally garnish the crushed cardamom on the Makhana Kheer and Serve it hot or cold.
