Birla Mandir Jaipur has been built in the year 1988 by famous B.M Birla Foundation. The temple is dedicated to Lord Laxmi Narayan.To reach the birla temple from the city one can take rickshaws, Local Buses and Taxis and the city has its own railway station and airport. The roads around the city make it possible to reach the place with utmost ease. The temple is also named as lakshminarayan temple, known simply as Birla Mandir, the temple is modern architectural wonder.

The grand temple is made by white marble, and dominates the skyline of southern part of jaipur. And have some beautifully carved idols and sculptures. This is situated in just below the renowned moti dungri fort. The temple of the three main domes represents a very clear picture of secular India as they represent different approaches to the religions of the nations. This temple is most beautifully crafted idols of lord ganesha and other Hindu gods. And we can find the statues of philosophers and great thinkers like Socrates and Buddha.


During the festival of janmashtami the temple is surrounded by large number of devotees, In order to celebrate the birth of lord Krishna. The mandir is surrounded by large number of lush green gardens. In this temple we can find the museum also, in this we can find the ancestral valuables of the birla family.

Birla Mandir of Jaipur looks like magical place of jaipur. In the night the temple glows, as it is lighten up with thousand of light bulbs. The idols and sculptures look so real as if, they would express a word just now. The idols of god Vishnu and his consort, lakshmi draw in the attention, which has made out from one piece of marble. The mandir also represents great historical philosophers, achievers, and religious saints such as Zarathustra, Socrates, Christ, Confucius and Buddha.

The devotees come from different places of India and darshan the temple with their religious hope. The temple has attractive stained window glass and windows of the temple depict scenes from the Hindu culture mythology, the master piece of this temple is idol of Lord Ganesha which looks almost transparent and has become popular among the local Hindu population. It is located around 1.5km south of ram niwas public garden and Albert hall. Many non Indians also can regularly visit this temple. It is a faith that inspires belief as complete as any other devotion as deep and religion.
