Birla Mandir Hyderabad is a white marble temple of Lord Venkateshwara which floats on the city skyline, on kala Pahad. Visitors visit the temple as it is in the heart of the city, other places to visit near birla mandir are Lumbini Park, necklace road, NTR Gardens, Osmansagar Lake. The idol in the temple is the replica of the one at Tirupati.

BIRLA MANDIR hyderabad on the Naubath Pahad is a magnificent Hindu temple of Lord Venkateshwara, this temple is entirely built with white rajestani marble located in heart of the city, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. The entire temple is built with white marble. Birla Mandir was constructed by Birla Foundation; several other birla temples are built throughout India with the same name. Birla Mandir is one of the famous temples in Hyderabad which is situated near Secretariat and Ravindra Bharati, Opp: Reserve Bank of India. The temple resembles a blend of South Indian architecture of Rajasthani and Utkala temples. The entire temple is made of two thousand tons of Rajasthani white marble which is said to be a pure one.

The deity is Lord Venkateshwara resembling the one in Tirumala devastanam, the temple has other Hindu deities: Shiva, Shakti, Ganesh, Hanuman, Brahma, Saraswati, Lakshmi and Saibaba. The selected teachings of holy men and Gurbani are written on walls of the temple.

History of the Birla Mandir Temple Hyderabad: The temple is built on a 280 feet which is 85 meters high hillock known as the Naubath Pahad on a 13 acres plot. The construction has taken 10 years to build the temple and was declared in 1976 by Swami Ranganathananda of Ramakrishna Mission. This temple does not have traditional bells, as Swamiji wished that the temple atmosphere should be contributed for meditation.

Distance from Hyderabad (Nampally) railway station: About 3 km Distance from Kacheguda Railway Station: About 5 KM. Distance from Begumpet airport: About 6 KM. Nearest MMTS station is Lakdi-ka-pul.

Timings of Birla Mandir Hyderabad: 7am to 12pm and 2pm to 9pm.
